At IDNZ we have a policy of one staff member taking "ownership" of each particular ship that visits New Zealand waters. This gives both head office personnel and crew onboard the ship a dedicated point of contact and the essential continuity that flows from this. Every ship is met by this person at the port of entry.

Our team understands the complexities and challenges that shore operations can pose. We realise how important it is for the cruise staff to know that they can rely on us completely during their time in New Zealand.

Mark Kerr Cruise Manager

Mark has been involved in tourism and hospitality for over 20 years from crewing on super yachts to managing hotels. Spending seven years at Princess Cruises as a purser, he brings a wealth of experience in passenger exchange operations in global ports and shore excursion management and implementation. On joining IDNZ in 2009 Mark quickly took ownership of several major cruise line brands and has been instrumental in increasing our cruise presence throughout New Zealand.

Nick Hieatt Administration Manager

Nick has been with IDNZ since we began in 1976, taking an active operational and managerial role in every aspect of IDNZ business over the years. Nick has vast product knowledge particularly as it applies to the needs of the independent traveler. He is also involved in the preparation and planning for cruise operations.

Stuart Victor Key Account Manager

Stuart Victor joined the ID team after nine years working on Princess Cruises’ cruise ships where he worked mainly in the position of Shore Excursions Manager after holding many other shipboard hotel department positions over the years. Stuart has a 3 year diploma in Hospitality Management.

Lucho Vizcarra Key Account Manager

Moving to New Zealand from Peru in 1986, Lucho’s passion for his adopted country has sent him far and wide throughout the country developing first hand knowledge of the very best that NZ has to offer. Lucho handles not only special interest groups, he is involved in cruise itineraries and is integral to IDNZ’s subsidiary company, Australian Shoreside Management which is based in Sydney.

Bethany Yee Destination Manager

Bethany has worked within New Zealand Tourism since 1991 and relishes the opportunity to showcase Christchurch & Canterbury and New Zealand. Having started her tourism career with a nationwide tour coach operator and a role focusing on the conference, incentive and cruise ship markets, her diverse background also includes experience in conference, events and incentives management, ranging from small corporate groups to large international congress and sporting events.

Elizabeth Schoenfeld Key Account Manager

Elizabeth comes to ID New Zealand with five years of Alaska and Seattle cruise and port operations experience. As Passenger Services Manager for a major Alaska-based tour operator, Elizabeth built great relationships with all the major cruiselines and won Princess Cruises Tour Representative of the Year for two consecutive years. Elizabeth has a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Washington.

Audrey Honiball Key Account Manager

Audrey joins ID Tours this season after spending 8½ years with Princess Cruises. Serving the last 5 years as Shore Excursion manager, primarily in the South Pacific, Australia and New Zealand regions. Audrey also has a 3 year diploma in Hospitality management from her home country of South Africa.

Chris Hazell Key Account Manager

Chris initially started his career in Events Management before joining a UK based tour operator where he quickly took ownership of their cruise operations. Specialising in Luxury and Expedition Cruise ships he brings a wealth of knowledge and operational experience of this niche market.
